HAWAII ENTRY REQUIREMNETS:

There are THREE steps all travelers must complete prior to arrival in Hawaii. These steps, which are from Hawaii’s Covid-19 State Department of Heath website are listed below:

  1. The Safe Travels digital program is a mandatory online form for ALL travelers to complete if they are traveling to Hawaii. People need to visit the site: https://travel.hawaii.gov/#/, create a profile, and enter their trip information.
  2. All travelers must take a COVID-19 test from a Hawaii Trusted Testing and Travel Partner: https://hawaiicovid19.com/travel-partners/. Travelers are responsible for the cost of the test and children under five do not need to be tested.
  3. 24 hours prior to departure and before boarding the plane, all travelers must log back into their Safe Travels account, answer a health questionnaire, and upload their negative test result. When all of that information is complete, travelers will receive a QR code. The key information on the following is "In Quarantine – No." This will allow travelers to rent a car, check into their accommodation, etc.

Note, the state of Hawaii may implement additional Covid-19 surveillance testing programs for incoming visitors. Also, each island will be handling the arrival of visitors differently so requirements are different depending on the island you are traveling to. If you would like more information about Hawaii’s entry process, you can view the FAQ page on their Department of Health Safe Travels site: https://hawaiicovid19.com/travel/

Keep in mind that what we suggest today may change tomorrow.

Remember to be flexible as things right now can change in a minute!
